National Museum of Armenian Ethnography and History of Liberal Struggle
This building, designed by Raphael Israelian and looking like a medieval castle, is located in the Sardarapat Memorial Complex in Armenia. The building has no windows, so you have the impression that you are standing near a castle without a window.
The museum has more than 70,000 collections, in which you can read Armenian culture in different periods. Historically important and interesting specimens from the Stone Age can be seen. Objects of the cultural life and everyday life of the people of the Armenian highlands, from various times. One can see work tools, hunting tools, petroglyphs and paintings, weapons, jewelry, examples of pottery, stonework, various vessels, etc.
One can notice clay, stone and metal chariots which were created as early as 3-1 millennia BC. The museum is always ready to show the well-preserved and historically important specimens to the public. The museum organizes various events.
